Textbook Ninja was conceived by the Script Source team in 2005 under a different business title. It is a used college textbook listing site for students anywhere in the United States. Textbook Ninja is available to college students free of charge to help them afford their books each and every semester.
The graphic design on this web site is custom. This web site layout is professionally designed primarily for usability. The site consists of a CSS layout, application logic in VBScript on an ASP platform and uses a MySQL database for long term data storage such as user preferences and book postings; user preferences are edited by logging in to an individual’s account page. The site is fully searchable and allows students to search books by a number of criteria either nationally or by a specific institution. Furthermore, the site validates (ie. the HTML and CSS are W3C compliant) and consists of about 75 pages not including dynamically produced pages.
